The jury, chaired by Georg Greve, decided to award, for the first time since the creation of the contest in 2003, a "special prize of the jury".

This prize, selected among all the confused categories, reward a project for its innovating character.

Bioclipse, project of the category "scientific software" originating in Sweden at Uppsala University, Department of Pharmaceutical Biosciences, whose project leader is Ola Spjuth, will thus be rewarded at the time of the award ceremony, in Soissons, next November 29th.
